what is the postage price for a 1 ounce oversized envelope?
I will be going to check at the post office with the actual invites in hand, but I wanted to get an idea of what to expect.
Our RD invites weigh less than an ounce all together, but they are oversized rectangles. Anyone have any idea what the postage rate will be? I was hoping to use the new love stamps...

I've read a lot of posts saying $0.97 - but I don't now how 'oversized' the invites were. HTH

That's what I was worried about.
I figured worst case I could put a $0.58 and a $0.41 stamp on them... or 3 $0.41 stamps... or just out $1 stamp on.
We'll see what the post office says... but I don't trust them after my invitation fiasco!
ETA - My RD invites are 9' x 6' and weigh less than an ounce. If they weren't oversized, they'd just take a $0.41 stamp.

oversized add 17 cents to the 41 cents = $. 58 just checked the postal rates here by the meter

DOUBLE CHECK with the post office. This sounds correct, but there is a difference between the $.17 surcharge and a 'large' envelope.

Yup, I always planned to check with the post office.
However, after TRIPLE-checking with the post office about my wedding invites, they still returned some to me with 'postage due.' I am going to put on whatever the highest amount anyone tells me is this time.

How much did they tell you ure invites were?? They told me mine we .97...should I be worried?
