what is the prelude????

Also prelude... that is before the processional while guests are being seated??? Just as they walk in early??? AGH! so confused

Prelude is music that is played as the guests are walking into church and waiting for the ceremony to begin. About 15 mins should be allocated.
Processional is the music the family and BP walks to.
Recessional reverse of processional
Postlude is played as guests exit the church.
