What is the rule about...

showing fh your wedding dress? I know it's really bad, but I kinda want to show him. Is it still bad luck if I just show him a pick online? My friends scream at me when I say I want to show him, so I figured I would ask you ladies what you thought. Am I really that crazy to want to show him TIA!

I THINK it is only bad luck if they see you In the dress but I am not sure.. I personally want FH to be surprised that day but I don't really believe in the whole bad luck notion.

i felt the same way for a long time. Instead i showed him dresses that i tried on but i didn't buy, just to pass the time.

I showed him the original dress i was buying and didn't tell him i got a different one. Its killing me but everyone keeps telling me not to tell him\.

I personally want his jaw to drop and be like WOWWWWW she looks amazing!! What a great choice!!! That is totally her!!! LoL FH already knows that I picked something that will make me look like a princess and have lots of bling on it... but I dont want him to know what it looks like. You want him to be suprised

i showed FH my dress from a magazine ad... but wont show him pics of me in it

I really want to show FH but he actually really doesnt want to see it. He wants to be surprised when he sees me walk down the aisle

Well I showed him a pic of it on a model never thinking he would actually get to see it in person at TWOTY or in Newsday. So my honest advice to you is DONT show him! You never know what can happen!!!!!!

i still cant believe that happened!!! what a horrible situation, but look how many girls knew it was your dress right away and said how gorgeous it is... that would make my day

I definitely wouldn't...I used to show FH pics all the time of what I wanted to try on, and he knows that what i bought he never saw in pics. I mess with him every time a gown is on tv, Oh noooo u saw my dress!!! But that's kind of backfiring too, cuz they're all poofy, so now he probably knows mine isn't...oops. Oh well...I have to yell at him not to look in my album and stuff when he stalks me on here.

im not going to show him ... but if you really wanted to i would say show him three pictures and dont tell him which one is your dress haha

i showed FH pics of my first dress after i switched dresses.... i'm so glad now that i changed dresses i feel much prettier in it

I'm not showing FH my dress...I want him to see it the first time on me when I walk down the aisle....only a few select saw my gown....mom, MOH, some of my friends.....I didn't even show my dad! I want to get that picture of him seeing me the first time as well...daddy's little girl.

I don't believe in bad luck.. But I won't show FM the dress.. It can be a surprise.. He is not curious YET.. But I'm sure as we approach the date he will be curious.. I'm taking him Tux shopping soon..

I will have more than one so, if he figures out one of them i have something else in store for him!

FH is superstitious and does NOT want to see my dress and as much as I wanted to show him, I'm respecting his wishes, he doesn't even want to see my shoes or my earrings, so I'll go with it and get the big WOW factor on the day of the wedding!

Like most (or all) of you ladies FH is my best friend so it's super difficult NOT to show him a picture of my gown but I share little details about it.... he still has no clue though LOL
