What is the strangest thing someone said to you...

...when they saw your ring??


I've gotten 'oh its very dainty' 'its small but thats ok its pretty' oh and 'wow thats a small band'

lol first time FH saw it on me ( he was deployed the night after we picked it out) 'wow it looks like a laser light show at a pink floyed concert and it can blind old people'

See you guys got nice reactions, I got reactions to how small it is. THE CENTER STONE IS A LITTLE OVER ONE CARAT!! I wouldnt say thats exactly small

same thing was said to me (its dainty!), but it was while my gyno was doing her exam....soooo embarrasssing. i hate when they try to make small talk when you're laying there getting your junk checked.

I know how you feel . . . I have a full carat emerald cut in a high setting with stones around the band and on the sides, and someone said 'how cute!'

The funny thing was that she was engaged and had no ring at all.

If yours is dainty... mine is minscule... yours looks pretty big to me

a few days ago, a woman in one of the other offices in my building was like 'omg when did you get that? is it real?'

i've def. had a few others.. can't think of them right now though

fh's stepsister said .. 'thats the best my brother could do.. and you said yes?' lol

ive had people tell me how different it is...its my grandmothers ring so the band isnt just plain-it kind of twists and has little diamonds in it. Plus the cut is different-cushion

I've only gotten compliments on my e-ring BUT when I was showing a woman at work a ring I got for Christmas a few years ago she was like, 'Oh it's nice, I like small jewelry.' Biiiiiitch!
