You have to remember-they may LOOK that green but they could be edited-also a florist cant guarantee something that they may not be able to receive. Green may be very hard to get in general. I know I have seen green hydrangea and they are NOT that green in person and they arent green for very long

Florist on Vendor forum told me it was a type of hydrangea, viburnum.

I've seen viburnum, but the only the tiny version and its GREEN!

Why cant these florist find me the big version in the pic above?

See the tiny Viburnum, they are $$$ but just few really wake up the arrangement I think.

yep, hydrangeas.

also, some florists prefer to use silk hydrangeas bc they are very hard to work with, wilt SO easily in heat, need water source which can make bo-ks heavy. maybe those green ones are fake/silk or something and thats why theyre such a vibrant green. ive seen fake ones that look great in pics.

that's hydrangea too. they come in all diff colors depending on maturity and the PH of the soil.

ETA: it just occurred to me that i'm not sure which flower you mean. the really dark one is a mystery to me. the blue ones that go slightly pink/purple at the ends of the petals are hydrangea.

I was thinking of the mystery flower I want to try and have a dark blue/medium blue bouquet to avoid the american flag feeel

Re: What is this flower?

someone said it above but word of caution with hydrangeas: they are VERY thirsty. I had an all hydrangea bouquet as a BM last summer, and we had to put them in a glass of water b/w the pics and the ceremony to get them back up to snuf, and put them back in water immediately after our intros. So just keep that in mind when you look at having them in your bouquet.

See if your florist can incorporate a water pick for them and hide it inside the rest of your bouquet. I had a holder with oasis (floral foam) b/c my orchids wouldn't have lasted without the water. If you want a handtied design, see if they can sneak in the water picks.
