TWOTY stands for 'the wedding of the year' and LIW puts one together each year where a bride and BP are chosen from LIW brides and they use all LIW vendors. Its an actual wedding, the bride and grooms renew vows...and its basically like a big party. All the vendors used get to display their work!

this years WOTY was last weekend so there wont be another for a while obviously, but when it comes around, i think brides apply to be the WOTY bride or to be a part of the BP, and others buy tickets to be guests. not sure the criteria by which they choose the bride..maybe a touching, unique, or compelling story.

he bridal party that is part of TWOTY are brides who have been married in the previous year---for example this year's BP was made up of 2007 brides....next year it will be 2008 brides.
you fill out a form---and then LIW does a random drawing and selects the bridal party and bride & groom.

the people in the bridal party just get to be in a wedding again for the day--and they can sometimes get other stuff on the actual day of TWOTY
as for prizes---there are usually many giveaways for everyone who attends TWOTY....raffles and such for everything from cooking lessons to a string trio for your ceremony to a DOC for the day etc. etc

melissa...its a random drawing that leads to the bride and groom being chosen too? i thought it was based on their story.

I like to think they picked the bestest bestest favorites.
JUST KIDDING! From what I understand, it is a drawing but there may be some other factors too (we did submit something written).
