What is wrong with my family??? (long)

I couldn't wait to share the 'news' with my family on Christmas eve. Just at 3 months so it was perfect timing. My Dad gave a toast and I got hugs. Noticed I didn't get one from my aunt. Later in the night i asked kiddingly if she was mad we kept the secret. She said 'to tell you the truth I'm a little hurt...I thought I was a part of the family'. She was mad that my Dad and sisters new for 2 months and that I saved her for the 'rest of the family'.
It was all over when she found out I told my other aunt before her (I told my other aunt 2 days before she was going for Triple Bypass Surgery...at 77 with diabetes we didn't know if she would make it!!!!!!)
Then I went to my god mother to joke about my aunt's comments (hoping she would make me feel better about it). She said...'you know...you could have told me'.

I couldn't sleep that night...I was so disappointed. Coincidentally my aunt didn't come over for christmas day like she has done every year.

What's wrong with people!!!!

first here's some hugs . I know some people don't like to tell too many people right away in the beginning. I can't believe she's upset that you didn't tell her. You would think that she would be happy for you. Try not to let it get to you.
