What is yor wedding budget?

I think my reception is going to cost $20,000, but that is just the place. I have no clue what flowers, photo/video, and a band cost. Can anyone help?

We did a lot of shopping around & research, and negotiating..lol......most importantly we stuck to our budget.. we had said we didnt want to spend no more than $10,000, we did really good.. we didnt compromise in any way..we also got a good deal on the RH because w booked them soo close to the day of, they gave us an awesome deal...

I carried $5,000.00 for each: flowers, entertainment , photo and video. My flowers were less then that so I increased the entertainment and went with a band.

Our largest cost was the hall. We don't have a budget, but are keeping it as low as possible since we are looking to buy a home. You really can negotiate with most vendors.

RH will be a max of about $12,000 and budget of $22,000 to $25000 for everything so I guess about 45-50% of budget is for RH

Our RH is $14,000 (for our minimum of 160 which I hope we dont go over!). I'd like to stay under $25,000, but with the cost of everything....who knows

budget?!?!? our RH is costing close to 20k with all of the other goodies hopefully under 30k...

We spent the most on our hall. I don't even remeber what my budget was. All I know is we are WAY over it!!!

your hall usually makes up around 50% of your budget

That sounds about right. We not really on a budget, but I don't want to spend a lot of money so it's keeping us cheap. I'd say if you include everything in down to the last detail we're around $45K and the hall I think will end up costing us around $19-20K.

We are trying to stay under $40,000. Our hall (which is our ceremony site, as well as after party) is costing $25,600.

We are spending about 40k on everything and our reception will have 140 ppl. I had a huge list before and narrowed it down. our reception hall is taking up a little more than 50% of the budget
