I think I'm borrowing a $1 from my co-worker. I borrowed and old ring from my mom but I'm not sure you can double up old and borrowed

I'm having a jewish ceremony, so I can't get married with a band that has diamonds in it, so I am 'borrowing' my great great grandmas band to get married in (and then switching right away!) but that's my something borrowed

I'm also borrowing my FMIL's mother's garter - however I'm calling that my something old.
