What's a budget? I don't like to add- but I'm a bargain shopper on some things and other things, for example 'THE DRESS' price doesn't matter. FH is the same way.

our budget is 'technially' 20K but fh's mom is paying for a handfull of random things that will probably add up to about $2000, then we got about $2000 for our engagement... And my dress etc. is being paid for by my mom. all in all it will probably add up to $25000

Hmmm. Officially $20K but that is without honeymoon or rings.
The little things add up though like kissing bells, petal cones, picture frames for table names, votive place cards, garter, accessories, etc.
We will probably go over but not by more than $1K I hope.
I was stuck at trying to do it for $15K but FI said no way.
All this assumes 115 people total. If we end up with all 147 people attending (plus vendor meals) it will be a lot more - maybe $25K without honeymoon or rings?

total so far 16,700
opps almost forgot the chocolate fountain. i am getting a credit for the cake at my hall since my sis is a pastry chef so that money will go toward that i think it is a 250$ credit so the fountain will end up being like 350. which brings it up to 17,050$ yiikes

BUDGET??? I wish I would have followed the budget I planned. I think our wedding is going to cost a bit more than expected.
