I knw his sister is my SIL but is her husband my BIL?

(MY DH doesn't have any sisters.. but I know that I call his brother's wives my SILs)

Brother in Law. We are such outsiders we get along better then anyone else in the family. We are the only 2 Irish ones

Yep he would be your BIL as well.
All the nieces and nephews call him Uncle Shrek. Cuz he looks like shrek without the green color...LOL

When one of DH's brothers took his sons to see shrek 2, there was the scene where they were on the honeymoon and he had on shorts and no shirt.
So one of my nephews was like 'look it's Uncle Frank'

I always wondered this, too. I always called my BIL's wife, DH's SIL. I never thought of her as my SIL, too. I refer to their children and DH's niece and nephew, too, since they are not from my brother.

I generally call him DH's brother in law. I am not sure if that is correct or not, I generally do it so that others don't confuse him with my sister's husband when I am speaking about him.
