what is your fastest dessert?

Maybe not the quickest but definitely the easiest yummy dessert I make.

In 9X13 inch Pyrex, layer

graham crackers
chocolate pudding (prepared and cooled)
Cool Whip

Repeat.
Top layer of Cool Whip can be dollops decorated with sprinkles, marachino cherries, or left plain.

Now you really know it's good!

Buy 1 angel food cake or a pound cake.. slice it in half (horizontally)

Then make homemade whipped cream.. put in center

Then put berries (strawberries, blueberries, etc) in the middle.

Put the top of the cake back on.. whipped cream, berries-

so good- good for you.. and SUPER fast.

And people for some reason think whipped cream from scratch is a huge deal.

If you are TOO lazy to make your own whipped cream- use cool whip.

PUDDING PIE

cook 2 packages of instant pudding mix and pour it into a ready made pie crust. Refrigerate 4-6 hours, top with cool whip and cherries before serving.

Dirt pie, by far!

1box of jello instant pudding
1 package of oreos
one tub of cool whip

grind up all of the oreos in the food processor and set aside
Make the pudding, then once firm, combine with the cool whip to make a mousse. Add 3/4 of the oreos, then sprinkle the rest ontop.
You think you died and went to heaven it's so good!
I make it in a clean pail in the summer and put gummy worms in it, then I spoon it out with a little plastic shovel. SO CUTE! AND, if you use non fat milk, cool whip and low fat oreos, it's hardly fattening!

Mini strawberry shortcakes:

1 pkg. mini Shortcakes (usually found in fruit aisle)
2 pints Strawberries
Homemade whipped cream or Reddi-Whip
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbsp. warm (NOT hot) water

In a large bowl, remove stems from strawberries and cut into halves. Save about 6 strawberries for garnish - do not cut! Add water and sugar to strawberries. Use a potato masher (or large fork) to smash strawberries, leaving some medium-size chunks. Cover bowl with plastic wrap. Refridgerate for 4-6 hours or until well chilled.

Spoon strawberry/juice mixture over shortcakes and top with whipped cream. (You may want to add another 2 tbsp. warm water and mix before putting on cake) Top with uncut strawberry.

I do like sassy...angle food...whipped cream...and strawberries...

but rice crispy treats are really easy and quick too

I love my mom's 'icebox cake'. It's very similar to LImom's.

In a pan, lay a layer of graham cracker and top with slightly cooled prepared chocolate pudding. Keep layering, ending with chocolate pudding (there will be many layers).

Top with some crushed graham cracker.

Chill overnight.

Cut and serve, topped with whipped cream!

I just made this pie over last weekend- makes 2 pies! One is freezable for future use. Yummy & easy!

1 cup powdered sugar
1 8 oz block light cream cheese, softened
1 cup reduced fat creamy peanut butter
1 14oz can fat free sweetened condensed milk
1 12 oz tub light cool whip, thawed
2 9in ready made reduced fat graham cracker pie shells
4 teaspoons low fat chocolate sundae syrup

-combine first 3 ingredients in large bowl, beat with mixer at medium speed till smooth. add condensed milk, until combined. Stir in whipped cream.
-divide mixture between 2 pie crusts.
- chill for 8 hours or until pie sets.
-drizzle with chocolate syrup.
- serve straight from freezer

All these desserts are making me hungry.
