For me, I'm not sure but I would have to say Dorney Park. Small, out of the way, etc.

Speaking of Amusment parks, did you guys see this?

Woman Dies in Fall at Amusement Park Ride

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (AP) - A woman fell 60 feet to her death Sunday from an upside-down amusement park ride, police said.
June Alexander, 51, died from injuries suffered after she fell from ``The Hawk'' at Rockin' Raceway. The ride is shaped like a ship and rocks back and forth, going higher each time. It eventually turns completely upside down.

Alexander, of Nashville, fell 60 feet when the ride turned upside down, said Lt. Lynn Wilhoite of the Pigeon Forge Police Department. She was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
``We don't know why this happened,'' Wilhoite said.
Representatives from the park's insurance company and the ride manufacturer planned to inspect the site, which has been secured by police.

No one else was injured, he said.

Dollywood also is in Pigeon Forge, about 30 miles southeast of Knoxville.

My favorite amusement park of all time is.. and this is scary because it's not there anymore.. by the way.. I think a lot of amusement parks are great today.. OK.. enough of my procrastinating.. it's a sentimental favorite... I used to love...

Rockaway Playland down by the beach.

It's gone and never could compare to 6 flags.. but I really loved when my folks brought me there. Ah, the memories.

Steph, I agree with you 100%!!

I never even knew about Cedar Point until FH told me about it (we're both coaster freaks!) We took a weekend trip to Ohio last fall (end of Sept) to Cedar Point. It was the BEST TIME of year, the park wasn't crowded and the weather was still nice

You are right, well worth the drive .. we had a blast!!

And the coasters.. oh my GAWD! Top Dragster was amazing, we still talk about how cool it was

We're already planning our weekend to go there this fall again

My best friend and I started going to CP about 5 years ago, and I try to go back every year! Last June, I took my son and on the way home, we stopped in Cleveland & went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which was so cool! You should try it next time...really easy to get to, and a great way to spend the day!!!

Cedar Park all the way. IMO no other park compares to this place. So many roller coasters to choose from and it is so nice and clean and HUGE. I try to go as much as I possibly can. It is so worth the 9 hour drive!
