I love frederick fekkai's olive oil creme. I use it before straightening my hair and as a conditioner. I love it. My hair feels so soft and doesn't appear to be damaged after using the hair straightner. It's expensive but definitely worth it.

I use Thermasilk shampoo and conditioner. I have a thermasilk leave in conditioner for when I straighten my hair. Once it is dry I use frizz-ease serum. For curly hair I use Control[d] substance molding putty by Salon Selectives for a tight hold, or I use Herbal Essences mousse for loose curls.

I have lots of very thin straight hair, so it looks like there is volume when there really isn't!
I have always used any old thing and it was fine for my hair, last couple of years I would get anything that said for volume or for fine hair... nothing really helps all that much.
I just recently bucked up ($$) and started using Aveeda Rosemary mint shampoo and conditioner and I really like it so far, my hair is more shiny than it was and feels like there is more body, even though I don;t think this shampoo is supposed to do that.
