Actually, I'm not supposed to know but I figured it out that he is composing a song for me to be played at the wedding (he's a part-time musician and BM is a full-time musician).
He thinks I don't know but he keeps practicing this one song (very pretty and light) over and over that sounds nothing like the usual stuff he writes. Oh, and despite the fact that we have a full recording studio in the basement he went over to the BM's apt. last night to 'work on some songs that Ricky (BM) is writing'. He's so cute.
