same thing with me!! he makes really good money! but i don't see him that often at all because of all the hours he works

Fh actually gets out earlier than me, he usually gets out around 2:30-3:00, sometimes earlier if hes done with everything...by the time i get home many times he even takes a nap before i get there.

He is an Insurance Underwriter at Geico.

Sorry to crash '08ers...mine went to school to be a pastry chef. I know what you mean, he really doesn't want to cook or make anything unless its a special occasion (like he's making our favors for the e-party). He also took cooking classes and I am not great at cooking so its a waste LOL. He works for BAE Systems full time though.

Sorry to crash '08ers...mine went to school to be a pastry chef. I know what you mean, he really doesn't want to cook or make anything unless its a special occasion (like he's making our favors for the e-party). He also took cooking classes and I am not great at cooking so its a waste LOL. He works for BAE Systems full time though.

Pay? I think his goal now is own his own terrorism consulting firm - much more money there than if he works for the govt. Hence why he's at biz school! Private sector is much more lucrative...

ETA: And yes Jess, its really cool and a great conversation piece! We both used to work for an underground counterterrorism think-tank in DC (Where we first met!) We had to use our fingerprints to get in. Its a cool field!!

that's the trade off for success, My FH makes delious $$, yet he's often consumed by his work & it is always the most important, since it provides us with means for a life style we're accustumed to. (FH's words, which I bet he copied from his dad, FH is 3rd generation in the industry)

Thats awesome.. Im more interested in pastry than cooking... FH made all the food for our e-party and generally doesnt mind cooking. He'd rather clean than do dishes

John is a suffolk county police officer and a sollider in the US army...Military police...

FH is a financial advisor aka stock broker

same with me!!!! i barely see him during the week
