to help with the planning. I think my FI is planning the HM and blocking the rooms at whatever hotel he chooses and maybe the limos. I think he's getting off pretty easy.

He is involved with everything. I have never went to a see a vendor or see samples of things without him he is the BEST!

When we first started planning he worked weekends, so he couldn't do much. However, he did come to a bunch of halls with me, and did see our ultimate choice before a decision was made (although when we went he said if I liked it, then it was good enough for him). He came to all photographer appointments, and all DJ's. He let me pick the judge for the ceremony since I'm the lawyer and knew who I wanted. He completely planned the honeymoon, but we went together to the travel agent to book (and used my Captain's Club membership to get discount on the cruise). We went to get wedding bands together, although we both picked what we liked. He has thus far stayed away from florists, although he agreed to come view sample this weekend because this florist is doing something a little different than what he and I discussed as our 'ideal' CP.
He is also in charge of the spreadsheet with all the financial info on it, but he doesn't have the wedding bank account #. (he said he didn't want it).
He has been to a bunch of wedding showcases with me, and has actually enjoyed them. And the most important thing is that he doesn't care how much time I spend on this website. He even asks what's new, and what new ideas I've gotten on a fairly regular basis, and he asks about the girls that he met at a GTG. For example a few weeks ago I mentioned Leslie & Janna's dresses, and he asked if I saw pics and if they were beautiful.

MY FI is in charge of the expenses. He is good at that, plus I don't expect him to have as much fun as me with planning so I don't drag him anywhere he has no interest in going to. I do alot with my MOH.

My FI is dealing with me! Actually, he has been by my side through most of the planning. He has had a say in everything. The only thing he said he doesn't want to do is work with the florist. He said he'll just come to see what I decide, so for that I'll go with my mom.

Hes involved in planning of all of our major vendors. Other then that, he let me take control of all the other little things.. Hes perfect.

Nothing really! I usually drag him to some vendors that I really like. I just told him to save money that is all.
He just started teaching so he has no time, I am fine with that.

He did all of the research for the HM and booked it with the travel agent. He doesn't see everything I do but he reviews how much it will cost before I buy anything. He's been good with helping...so far.

So far, FH helped me book the band and the photographer/videographer, he tried to help with the monograms (didn't work out so good), and he is going to make the CDs. I'm sure I'll come up with more for him to do, but it's hard because we are far apart.

video and honeymoon were entirely his projects to plan. and he helped with my DIY stuff all the time!
and most of the digital album stuff will be coordinated between him and the photog.
in fact, a lot of the 'after wedding' stuff is his projects and it seems to be working really well as I re-focus on work and decorating the house.
