I am the odd one out of everyone (most likely)... I live WITH my FH & his parents... LOooNnnNNgg story.. too long to even get into it
After the wedding we are getting our own apartment (Actually maybe a few months before)
Janie...I am with you..well, actually I will be.
I am moving FROM my apt...where I live ALONE..to fh's apt, where he lives with his mom...
we will start house hunting a few months after the wedding...it's really no biggie, since no matter where we move, we are taking FMIL with us.
she's actually pretty great so I don't mind. she never gets in our business (well, maybe once or twice in 11 years-not so bad LOL) and is pretty self sufficient. but even if we moved out now, we'd still be paying her rent, so it's like throwing money away (a retired person cannot survive in NYC on SS alone)
U ladies are not the only ones. I live with FH and his mom in a house. FH and I are closing next Monday. So we will be living on our own.

We live together now in an apartment. Hopefully sometime after the wedding we'll start to go house hunting!

I wouldnt live with FH until we were engaged. We moved in about 4 months after we got engaged in September and thats where we are now.

We 'lived together' on the weekends at my apartment until we bought a house in August. After we bought the house we lived together on the weekends at the house. Now of course we live togethr

FH & I both live in a home owned by our parents. I will be moving in with him (& FMIL & FSIL) either over the summer, or between the wedding and honeymoon. We expect to be there @ a year while we save for a house.

FH and I live with our parents to save more money for the wedding. About two months before the wedding we are going to go apartment hunting.

I live with my parents in Queens. He is in the Navy currently stationed in New Hampshire which is where we'll live after the wedding until his next re assignment.

We both live with our parents until the wedding. we're looking at houses and co-ops in the next few months and then FH will live there and I won't move in until after the wedding.

My Fi was transfered to Los Angeles 5 months after we were engaged, so I moved from NYC to LA to be with him. After the wedding, we will probably stay in LA for another year or so and then hopefully move back to NY.

We both lived at home with our parents until I got pregnant again last year, then my son and I moved in with him and his parents until we found our own place. Now we live in a small two bedroom apartment, but it's just big enough for the four of us right now. After we're married we're going to start saving for a house.
