depends on the floor. if it's in my house or one of my immediate relatives then i'll pick it up and eat it. if we're talking a public place or someone's house where i don't know them really well it stays on the floor. depends on how hungry i am though

In our house totally depends on what it is and when was the last time we vacuumed ... three dogs and there's a lot of hair around ...
and true, if they are around, most likely one of them will get it before we have a chance! They do out number us!!

I'm a firm believer that germs are good for you (in small doses) - builds up your immune system! So, if it falls on my floor or one that is visibly clean, it's fair game...
...this from the girl who won't let her own husband wash her underwear!!!

With cat hair all over the place, I usually just trash it .. .not to mention we have a cat who thinks she is a dog, and she usually lunges for it anyhow!

It depends on whose floor it is. If its my floor, its all good for up to a minute. If its someone elses floor, hell no!

my house or family house...5 second rule. tile-ok, carpet floor, no unless a cookie...dry food will be eaten, wet food, hell no...hate hair in my food. i agree with usuk, a little germ invasion is ok.this from a girl who will share a lollipop with my dog. ohhh, new ones!!!
