when I went to pick up my dress, I happened to be wearing blue underwear (sorry if that is TMI, I do have a point - I promise lol).
Anyhow, my dress is satin with organza overlay, and I could see the underwear right through the dress under the store's halogen lighting!
That was going to be my something blue, but there goes that idea.
so what are you ladies going to wear that is blue?

I am going to wear blue underwear..... Are you wearing a slip under the dress? You could get a blue garter.

my dress has built in crinoline, so no additional slip. When I told my seamstress what had happened she wasn't surprised at all and said it's common with that fabric. she recommended I wear nude undies.
I kind of wanted to wear a certain kind of garter (sports related and not blue) so I was looking for other ideas.

I am planning on wearing blue underwear, but my 'real' something blue is my grandmother's sapphire and diamond cocktail ring.

Earrings with sapphires. My grandfather was a jeweler and he made them for my grandmother. She gave them to me a few years ago. There is also a matching pendant but I don't think I will be wearing anything on my neck.

if you're doing the garter toss, you could always wear 2 garters... one to keep, and one to toss.... i didn't do that, but my friend did... so the toss one could be the blue one... i got my blue garter at michaels for like $3 just another idea!
