i know some girls haven't found their dress yet but for those who have, what is your 'the one' story???
all my friends told me i would know once i put it on & they where right. i tried on a whole bunch of dresses, some i liked, some i didn't like. i was showing my mom a few that my sister & i liked & she kept saying, 'that makes you look too short, that looks too cheap, thats just not the right one.' so the girl helping me pulled a dress & told me to just put it on. i didn't not know what it looked like. she said its the dress for her wedding. all i knew was that it had a corset back because she was pulling the strings to tie it. meanwhile my sister was telling me that she found the bridesmaid dress. aggravated, i yelled, 'i don't have a dress yet how did you find a bridesmaid dress?' we both walked out of the rooms next to each other & my mom had this big smile on her face. without me knowing what my dress looked like i said, 'wow this is the best dress i have tried on.' i looked into the mirror & immediately fell in love.

Aww that almost made me tear up a little lol. No story for me yet but hopefully this summer when I start looking

I felt the same way when I tried on my dress. I tried on a few dresses but I didn't love any of them the way I love the one I chose. My MOH and I fell in love with it the moment the sales consultant brought it to us.

I actually pictured myself walking in the church with it on, and I started crying. That's how I knew it was the one.

I thought I had found 'the one' until I found another one. When I found the second one, there was only one thing I wasn't a fan of, and I can change that. But I knew as soon as the woman brought it up to the dressing room. My reaction was 'Now THAT'S what I'm talking about!!!!!'
I put it on and my mother and sister's just covered their mouths and said WOW. That was the reaction I was looking for. Then even though I posted the two gowns for all of you to poll for me, in my heart, I knew which one I really liked better because I couldn't stop thinking about it. Then I found out yesterday that I can change the one thing that was holding me back. It has a straight waist and I really prefer a basque waist. Once I was told that (for an extra charge of course) I could get the basque waist, I was sold!!!!!

haha my 'the one' story starts with me not even wanting to try my dress on. My Mom picked it and I was actually so discouraged by the salon I was at (they were annoying lol) that I just wanted to leave, but I didn't want it to be a total bust so I tried it in and I liked it a lot, but there was no THE ONE feeling.
We went to another salon (it had that same dress) and I tried on 10-12 more dresses which all were pretty terrible...then I tried on my dress and I liked it better by far than any other dress I had put on. So I decided to get it. I think I felt like it was THE ONE like a week or two later

i had been to a few stores already...but i really wanted to try on a demetrios dress that I had seen online...so I went to Macys. They only had my dress in Plus size so it was Gigantic! and it was hard to get an idea of what it would truly look like ....the sales woman was really tugging the dress in all different ways to help me get a better idea...and I loved it. My mom cried and I could picture myself on the wedding day wearing it...so I had to have that...I can't wait to see what the dress looks like when it actually fits!
