Our wedding is on Sunday but I think we may have Rehearsal Dinner on Thursday to avoid inviting a lot of OOT's. The would be a lot b/c many of our guests will be OOT's and likely coming in on Fri or Saturday! It seems selfish but oh well! we are not made of money you know!

thanks for all your help. My family usually has:

wedding party and guest
parents
close aunt/uncle (usually just my dad's brother and his wife)
siblings etc.

The topic came up the other day with FMIL and she was under the impression that only the wedding party and parents are invited. I wanted to see other opinions before I said anything.

my FIL's think it is:
bridal party, all OOT, and immediate family only...

personally, i dont feel comfortable with this because I am extremely close to all of my aunts and uncles and some are OOT and some aren't... how could I invite some of my family and leave some out... especially when we are so close...

So im hoping it will be:
immediate family
bridal party
close OOT family guests
close aunts, uncles, grandparents etc
