For girls who kept (or who are keeping) the tradition of something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. What is/was your something borrowed? Thanks.

Re: What is/was your something borrowed?
My something borrowed is going to be my sister's necklace chain. I needed a shorter one for the locket I am wearing and she has one so it's perfect!

Re: What is/was your something borrowed?
My something old is also something borrowed....a gorgeous antique pearl cuff bracelet of my aunt's mothers (not an aunt that is blood related)

Re: What is/was your something borrowed?
Mine is my DOJ: pearl stud earrings and a single strand pearl necklace that belonged to my aunt and my grandma, respectively.
I usually wouldn't wear pearls (animal-rights reasons) but this stuff is really old and my grandma and mom wore it in their weddings...and their marriages lasted! So since I'm not going out and buying it myself, I've rationalized in my head that it's okay.

Re: What is/was your something borrowed?
my sister's garter... which was originally her friend's garter. so it's technically double borrowed!

I have my great grandfathers pocket watch that my dad is letting me borrow (and it's my something old) and my FSIL's shoes.

Re: What is/was your something borrowed?
I am borrowing my great grandmothers blue ring (to be worn on my opposite hand of course)... that thing is huge and I almost died when I found out I was borrowing it.
