What kinds of favors is everyone doing? I don't want to steal ideas but I am clueless!!
We have no idea what to do for favors. We want to do something different (like every bride! ) I was thinking maybe candle holders but I don't feel like that is enough. If anyone has any ideas please help Thanks

Doing a donation also. I wanted to do something people could keep and use... but I think about all the things I get from weddings and dont use...
I was going to do a donation to AIDS research for 2 people we know, then his grandmother has some weird blood disease that we could donate to, then my grandfather has alzheimers(sp?)... I dont want to make anyone feel left out. So I think we are going to donate to March of Dimes.

We're also doing a donation to ACS. I think most times people don't notice the favors, forget to take them, don't use them etc..., so we wanted to do something more meaningful. JMHO

We are having 2 favors.
1. Framed photos of us, with neat facts about our relationship on the back.
2. Homebrewed beer, one of our hobbies, with nice wedding labels.

They're very reasonably priced, too! They were 3.50 for a box of two troufles. And if you want the personalized ribbons and a charm added, they are 4.25. Not bad for some good chocolate!

We are doing two favors, jordan almonds in organza bags, with a poem attached, those will be per guest, and then per couple we will be given aromatherapy hearts that come with vanilla oil with our names and wedding date engraved in it.

We're doing two:
FH wants to make real baseball cards (our photographer is helping us) of us and our bridal party, wrap them with a piece of baseball card bubble gum and put the escort tags on them.
Not my first choice since we're having a classy affair, but he really wants them-so how could I say no? Besides, wrapped they look kind of nice.
Then, we're making donations. We're making a different donation for each table, and putting a note below the table number in a frame(i.e....a donation to___ has been made in honor of our table #__ guests. etc etc ). The donations will be kind of personalized based on the people sitting at the table.

I am tied between silver plated ice cream scoops (we got them as a favor from a wedding and it's great!) or custom-made fortune cookies. I haven't made up my mind yet. The ice cream scoops look like this:
I don't have a picture of the cookies but they are really pretty.
