yes they are and we cannot get them for our June 8th wedding, we tried and tried, pedestals in garden city said no, not in season that time of year. They are so pretty, so we had to switch

Re: What kind of flowers are these?
I have no clue what kind of flowers to pick. I really do not want roses. Everything I pick is too delicate or out of season.

Peonies in July? Are you sure? You might be able to get them, but they are really out of season-really from may-June. A six week window. They are VERY expensive and if you can get them out of season, if at all, they may be even more expensive...I would double check with the florist. My best friend wanted peonies and her wedding is in August. Four florists told her no how, no way.

They are beautiful but they ahvean eight week window (just looked it up so correcting myself on the 6!) 6-8 weeks. they can be 'manufacutured' after that but they are more fragile and MUCH more expensive. Like orchid expensive. If you want them for CP, consider perfectly bloomed carnations. i know it sounds weird but I saw a show where they did that. They took like 24 carnations (which are DIRT cheap) and put them in a low vase and they looked exactly like peonies with the fluff factor.
