Peonies in July? Are you sure? You might be able to get them, but they are really out of season-really from may-June. A six week window. They are VERY expensive and if you can get them out of season, if at all, they may be even more expensive...I would double check with the florist. My best friend wanted peonies and her wedding is in August. Four florists told her no how, no way.
yes, im sure, you can see them in my album pics- church pic- has the pew bows
they were gorgeous!

Doesn't sound bad at all. Thanks for your help. When you have time and if you don't mind, please FM me the breakdown. Thank you so much.

Re: What kind of flowers are these?
when i went to the wholesale flower district in Jan and Feb they all had peonies...Flowers are alot cheaper in the wholesale flower district and they were selling peonies for $5 a stem so a florist would charge about double that

Thanks. I wonder about english roses or garden roses. I forget what they are called, but they are big and fluffy.

I hear that out of season peonies tend to be smaller (more rose-like) and more delicate.... sort of like the rununculus....
July is just after the season, so maybe you can get away with it?

I have to price out the garden roses, but I think they are my second choice. I have some time, so I am going to meet with florists to get their opinions. Planning a summer wedding is harder than I thought. There are so many things that are iffy with the heat.
