I'm torn between Calla Lillies and Roses. I love both. But, only want to do one and stick to that 'theme'....any opinions?
I've seen colored Calla Lillies? Are they really colored, or just sprayed? I always thought they were white....
If I get Roses, They will be White, Red, and Pink mixed. My girls will be in a wine color. Any suggestions on other color roses will be helpful! Thanks girls.

i was gonna do calla lilies, but decided on orchids and garden roses. i love the look of callas.

i personally think the mango callas would be lovely against the wine and especially if you're having a fall wedding...
There's a big price difference between roses and callas. If you can afford them, I would do callas - they're undeniably elegant. The colored ones are natural as they come in a vast range of colors.
As for which flowers I'll be using, it's going to be a hodge podge of white callas, mini callas, orchids, peonies, tulips, hydrangeas and lilies (I LOVE flowers!).

I never liked calla lilies -- I'm a rose girl!!
Doing white and lavendar roses, with stephanotis, lavendar tulips, stock , hydrangeas.

I did all roses but I also love calla lillies. If you go to Burton's they will give you 1 price for any type of flower.

I love calla lillies... I am having mango callas for me and a mixed bouquet for the girls
I'm doing mostly roses (amongst other flowers), but I wanted callas somewhere so my card table is going to have callas in the middle.

Kim51103 - I came on to send the website to my girlfriend who is getting married next year and clicked on this thread - how funny to see myself!!! in your first pic! That is me and my purple Schwartvelder callas! I knew they were what I wanted and my girls in black dresses carried black magic roses. The photographs were AMAZING - the colors popped like a watercolor against the ivory and black dresses.

We are having black magic roses and cream roses. I am a rose girl... I love them! And they are the only flower that i am not too allergic to!

OH BOY!!! i had the same problem i love both but if i had calla lilies i wouldn't have rose petals EVERYWHERE
i decided to do a mix of roses, callas, and peonies BM- all pink roses MOH white and pink roses me white roses with stefanotis
