should I send to an ex-co-worker? I was invited to the wedding but can't attend. I'd like to send her something from her registry, but not sure how much is appropriate to spend? I don't want to spend too much, one of the reasons we aren't going to the wedding. Thoughts? TIA!

I think you should maybe get her a gift card worse comes to worst. I love those things. If not Lenox is the fall back...

I don't think you need to spend more than $50 or $75 if you're not going and it isn't a very close friend.

Re: what kind of gift
I'd prob spend about $50 if I wasn't close to them and don't see them anymore & not going to the wedding.

I agree with the other girls...whatever you feel comfortable with. Its a gift, and I'm sure no matter she will appreciate it. Only you know your financial situation and whats best for you!

Re: what kind of gift
If you're not close, I would get something off her registry for up to $100.
