My shower is this weekend (woo!) but there is very little purchased from our registries. What gifts did everyone get?

People will still buy....it's only Tuesday (sad but true!). I think many people buy the day before the shower!! We got almost all gifts from the registry, and a couple of other assorted things...

I guess thats possible. the shower is on Sunday so they have all day Saturday. I doubt we'll get a lot from the registry though, theres still so much left!

i got a lot from my registry - except FMIL who wanted to get creative and gave me a leather bowl (it looks like a football!). oh, and an aunt who crocheted me a blanket which was so sweet of her.
I don't know where you're registered but I know sometimes it takes a while for it to update - and sometimes it doesn't come off. I've also had ppl just buy it, and not notify the registry so i got duplicates

haha i was thinking that might happen too b/c FHs family is not the most tech savvy
Did you have difficulty returning or exchanging? We registered at Macy's and Crate and Barrel and I'm pretty sure they wont give you cash back unless you have the receipt, right?

I got duplicates at Fortunoff. don't know the policy at Macy's or C&B. Maybe you'll be able to exchange or get store credit? I might return a few things and if I can only get credit I'll put it towards buying another place setting or my champagne glasses. The only place I've heard gives cash is Bed Bath and Beyond.

We got mostly kitchen stuff, appliances, extra pans and cookbooks. A set of towels. We also got our toasting flutes and cake servers.

people bought stuff for my shower on the day of!! & the shower started @ 11am. dont worry, most people wait until the last minute to buy gifts.

Don't know about Macy's but at C&B your registry is your receipt so you don't need a paper one.

Really? So they give you cash back? I'm almost positive that Macy's said they only give back store credit.

Some of my friends bought my place settings at Fortunoff, and I was/am registered at BBB and Macy's. Maybe some of your items were bought at different stores I also received gifts that weren't on my registries like wedding scrapbook stuff and gift cards !!!! Don't worry, towards the end of the week more stuff will be missing from your registries!!!
