do/did you use to glue the rhinestones to your monogram cake topper? I tried hot glue gun (too messy) and super glue (glued my finger to the monogram....)

Re: What kind of glue.......?
What about tacky glue? That's super strong glue but shouldn't leave a mess on it. Also what I did with the tacky glue was use a brush to apply it to things.

Re: What kind of glue.......?
I just got sparkley rhinestones from Michaels. I also got the thin wooden letter that I am using as topper from there, too
Thanks for the suggestion about the tacky glue!! My burnt and glued together fingers thank you, too!

Re: What kind of glue.......?
Was just a thought I do crafts with the kids that I work with from time to time and they always want them to hold up.. tacky glue seemed to work the best but I am thinking that it might work for the rhinestones since it holds good.
Hope your poor fingers will be okay.

They make a special glue for this. It is called GEM TAC, in the same aisle. It really works and you are able to move the stones around for a few before its permenant.
