What kind of Glue

Hi ladies;
I am making my own invitations and all I have to do is glue the two layers together (ivory invitation over black cardstock). I just don't know which glue to use Could you recommend the one you used? Also, I am doing pocketfold invitations, so behind the black layer there will be a satin ribbon to wrap around the whole invitation. The glue must be good enough to hold everything in place, the cardstock and the satin ribbon. HELP!!!!

I use this Adhesive Power Bond tape from Michaels. It's awesome!!!! It's red and is in the paper/glue section

3M makes a Photo Mount Framing Adhesive, but I don't know how well it works. Elmers has a Craft Bond spray, which I have used...but spray glue of any kind can be messy....

I used Zots glue dots to hold the ribbon in place. On top of that I used permanent double stick tape to mount the paper to the cardstock.
