What kind of vase/bowl are you putting your centerpieces in?
Im trying to get some ideas. I want a low centerpiece where you dont see the stems. What are your florists offering you?

Re: What kind of vase/bowl are you putting your centerpieces in?
My florist said I could bring in my own bowl and she'd fill them. Or I could use hers as upgrades $$$$$.I got a small vase/large candle holder (not sure exactly what it was) from Walmart for $.77 each. It was very low. To hide the stems I got a few bags of fish tank gravel that went with the theme.
They looked so pretty in the pictures I got back so far. Since they were on the small side, I added 3 votive candles to the outside to expand the size. That didn't work as well as the rose petals the florist spread around the vase.
ETA: Buy a few extra, they were very cheap and I broke one on the way home. They came in blue and clear.

Ivy bowls, very inexpensive, less than a dollar at walmart. Also, I am not having flowers. Sand candel and shells instead.

I am using a bubble bowl with crystals on the bottom and you will see the stems but you can add enough crystals in the bowl and stick the stems in there so you dont see them.

that sounds like a great idea. What kind of flowers are yout putting in them? I am also using bubble bowls with clear glass gems at the bottom. My bowls are 8' wide so it looks as thought I might need more than 12 stems (roses) to fill it.

My centerpieces are low and full and you won't see any stems at all. I forget what the florist is using, but they're not using bowls at all, but another kind of holder. I'll find out and let you know.
