My FH says he doesn't want one at all because he'll never wear it. He needs one for the ceremony. I'm seriously thinking about getting him a plain silver band. He said that he would rather this so we can spend more money on my ring. I'm obviously fine with that!

FH got a trinity knot silver band for everyday and we'll get him a simple platinum band for special occasions that is similar to mine.

The only thing I don't like about titanium is that you can't size them. But they look so nice!

I got it for like $25 at an Irish Shop by me.
Seriously its sooo simple. But its so him. I can imagine we will go through about 4-5 silver ones the first year!!!! :) :)

my FH is a mechanic, so he too will never wear his ring. if his grandfather wasnt giving him his wedding band, i was just going to get him a $20something sterling silver ring for the day of..

Anything to put towards your ring is a wonderful thing! I wish FH would think the same. He's all like 'I bought you something that completely cleaned out my savings- I gotta get you another one?????????'
But, my FH wants either titanium which would be a plain band but he saw a nice white gold one with a diamond- he was all like 'You got your diamond so I should get one too!'

FH mentioned the hammered look and I really like it...here is something similar to what he is thinking about:
we got his band already it is such a cool ring and it's suits him it has a square of 9 little diamonds and some celtic braiding (jes he's VERY irish)in yellow gold and the ring itself is white gold. I love his band he saw it when we were picking out my 'real' engagement ring(i still have to post that sory) since it was so perfect and i've never seen something like that we grabed it that day
