What Linens are you using ? Colors or standard white?
Im really thinking about getting linens for my reception, but someone told me it is more reasonable to get table runners and still get good look... Any recommendations....and companies?

I think table runners would look much better IMO..if you do the entire table a bright or bold color, it might be too much. If anything go with champange.

im doing white table cloths and white chair covers with red table runners and red chair sashes

i really don't want to spend extra money ont his but I think I am going to go with colored napkins (berry pick) just for that pop of color against the standard ivory tablecloths the hall gives, If i get into changing all the linens i know i will be in over my head

im doing chocolate satin table cloths, gold satin chair covers, and chocolate brown sashes
not sure which company it is my doc's are dealing with them

We are renting sheer gold overlays and will use on top of the cream linens that our RH has. Try tablewraps.com. I think they are located in jericho also

I had an idea to do table runners also because I have all long oval tables and have colored chair covers ...fuschia and orange...

i am. the vendor i am dealing with has done them at my hall on those tables and said its fine (they are the house vendor so im assuming they know)
