What made you pick your photograher and videographer?

I'm soooooo curious to find out. It looks like there are so many talented people out there.. I have no idea how I'd pick.

So Ladies, what was it that made you select the photographer and videographer?

The owner of the studio grew up around the block with me and is good friends with my sister and.........their work is wonderful

I've been so lazy. I was going to start checking out a few places during by winter break but didn't do anything!! I've basically just checked stuff out on websites and for some reason everything looks the same to me.

After seeing FSIL's Patken pics & video, we knew we wanted them. I was in such shock at how great their work was. I had never seen anything like that before. We also saw her in law's proofs & video & it basically sealed the deal for us

Lol.....I completely agree 100%. I wish you can get all these vendors in a room and they start bidding for how low they are willing to give their services. That would make life so easy.

After seeing some pictures that Willi Wong had taken of several weddings on this site, I just LOVED his style, after much research on here and other sites I finally met with him. That is when we both new he was the one.. The vision he has and his enthusiasm is incredible and the pride he takes in all his work made it one of the easiest decisions we've made during the entire planning process.

The amazing photos and quality of work that Imagine Studios produces. Also the photographer, Lia, is amazingly sweet and really nice. It's really important to like your photog because they spend the whole day with you!

i fell in love with my photographer the minute my RH showed us pictures of their hall. i knew after seeing his sample book that i had to have him, after that i went home and went through his blogs and websites, and his pictures were flawless, there just unbelievable..when i met with him, we instantly clicked, he sponsored by nikon, hes got just such an amazing passion for what he does, and i felt soooo comfortable with him, he wsant pushy, and he absolutely worked with us with our budget.

we went with michael oneil.
fm me if you wnat more information on him or his website, he is sooo fab, defiantely worth looking at, esp with how important photo is

I was told about Amanda Picone from another girl on this site. I hired Amanda to photograph my E-party and then she did my E-pics. Shortly after that we became friends lol and My MOH was soo sweet and she hired Amanda to photograph my brodal shower. After seeing my E-pics I knewwww I had to have Amanda photograph my wedding. Her style is amazing, she is truly talented and you can see her passion through her photos.

We clicked sooooooo well with our photographers...we went to what was supposed to be a 1 hour initial consult meeting at Panera and we ended up staying and talking with them for 2 1/2 hours!!! After that there was really no doubt in our minds that we had to have them. Loooooove Britney and Joe from Turn Loose The Art!!

Our videographer was the only one we met with...we thought he was very professional, and he gives a two-camera look with only one camera. He started out in editing, so he's always thinking about the final product while he is shooting...his videos looked awesome and his price just could not be beat. We're booked with Rob from Couped-Up Productions.

I picked Duet because my sis used them for her wedding and I loved the work that they did.

I'm still going through the process of making a final decision on a photographer and videographer, and never realized how vastly different each is!

Photo: I'm now deciding between 2. I love their crisp photos, mostly photojournalistic approach, and their finished albums. Price might be the deciding factor between them.

Video: I'm leaning toward 1. I love his artistic, romantic, cinematic approach, and his very evident creativity. Price is the only thing holding me back from booking him immediately.

I won a contest she was having, her work is phenomenal and she is just an awesome person!

My videographer was highly recommended and his work isgreat, very cinematic. A very nice guy!!

Besides the quality of their work and the great prices....we fell in love with our photographer (http://www.abprophoto.net/) and videographer/DJ (http://www.abdj.net/). They were very personable and when we met with them we felt like we had known them forever...so sweet and helpful, not pushy AT ALL like the rest of the people we met with. We got a great deal because we booked the all 3 services (photo, video, and DJ)....FYI: we werent going to get a video but I asked just for the heck of it to see a video and I was on the verge of tears because it was so beautiful!

And to top it off (I am a sucker for romance) : the woman who owns the photo end of the company is the wife and the man who owns the video end and is the DJ is the husband...how freakin cute is that???

Anyway I think these people are awesome and they did come highly recommended!

He is one of my best friends fiance and he does amazing work.. i've know him for over 5 years and know the amazing work he does and pictures he takes!
