FH & I love the cherry blossoms & every year since we first started dating we would go to the festival at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. They blossom the end of April so thats how we picked our date. We will be taking pictures the day of the wedding there.

we knew from the beginning we wanted october......summers are really hard because our families go on vacations to europe so that was out......winter was not an option because we have a lot of family traveling in from Greece and Italy and didn't want any snow storms coming in the way......Fall is our favorite time!!
we tried for 10/10 which is our anniversary but the hall that that day was available was not our top choice.....sooooo we said either we go with our top choice and pick the 10/24 or go with another hall and get the date.......we chose 10/24 at our top hall!!

nothing (yet) they had the date open. I knew I wanted late August early September.... and it was a done deal
Actually I wanted May but a friend who got engaged before me picked July so I felt the need to do the right thing.

it was more about the hall then the date - we loved VYC, and they had the 2nd available so we went for it!

always wanted a june wedding, didn't think i could afford it, but found out i could by doing a day wedding. I picked June 12th b/c June 5th is my birthday and i didn't want to share the same anniversary/b-day date and I didn't want to go too late into June.

welll I have OCD and I hate even numbers, lol. and we really wanted 10.10.10.. so I got the closest thing with odd numbers to it.. and also.. I didnt want summer cause its to hot and wanted more time to save for the wedding.. and sept was my 30th bday so wanted to do it in beginning of october cause its still on the warmer side... :)

Our 5 year anniversary is September 8th, but since we started planning 3 weeks ago, we had to go with the best date we can get at our favorite reception hall. Jericho had the Dome room available for the 28th so we took it!!!!

We originally wanted September 25th because it held sentimental value but the most inexpensive and BEAUTIFUL reception hall only had October dates left *sigh* so we went with the soonest date available in October.

mine is sept 25, my grandfather's birthday was sept 27 which is a monday- so my fh decided the 25 in honor of him- bc he passed away- and was unable to meet my fh :(

we originally had 5/22 because we love spring, but the flowers werent quite in bloom for us, so we went back to the hall and they had a few saturdays. our BM actually picked 7/17 for us

I was really game for any day in June! Our Hall didnt have the 5th, one of the groomsmen is also in a wedding on the 12th, and didnt want to wait til the last weekend in June! :) And June also gives me enough time to get a tan outside and not the tanning booth! (that actually did go into my decision making a little because i wanted to be tan but not go to a tanning salon)!! lol

4th of July has always been boring for us so I wanted to make sure that there will always be a party on that day with fun and fireworks.
