I love the summer and HATE the cold, so I knew I would only have my wedding in the summer months. We choose August because it was the only time in the summer when could leave immediately after the wedding for our honeymoon ( because of FH's schedule)

Wanted May 2nd (our 2 year anniversary) but FSIL is getting married May 15th...we needed it to be in warm weather asap so that my mom's parents had the best chance of attending (they live in Florida and its hard for them to travel in cold weather). FSIL was jerking us around with dates (she is getting married in England, wanted to have a second ceremony here but wanted us to push off our wedding until NEXT summer so she was putting up a fuss)...finally I decided to tell everyone to go fck themselves because the hall we wanted was open on July 18th and that seemed like an awesome day to me

I told FH if he wanted to marry me it was going to be that day or no day...he agreed to 7/18!

we wanted either an april or october wedding and i like spring a lil better than fall. we originally wanted the april 23rd but the room we wanted was booked. so we got the 9th instead

I was originally a 10.10.10 bride and I picked it because I love the number match up (still do love it & in my heart I will always be a 10.10.10 girl). I am now a 10.03.10 bride and I picked it because I still wanted to get married in October and needed any date that was still available in that month once I changed my RH for a bigger room.

I've always wanted to get married in October and we liked the sound of 10-2-10 plus, it's easy to remember! Also, it's practically September weather so hopefully it will still be a little warm but not hot!

We both knew we didnt want a winter wedding and I always love the month of September so we decided on that. When we went through the Sat dates the first weekend was my moms birthday and I didnt want to do it then- the next weekend was 9/11- we just couldnt do it on that date and the following was the 18th so we picked that.

My dad should be done with chemo/radiation for a few weeks by then (send him your prayers!!). Two weeks earlier is my nephew's Bar Mitzvah down in MD so we couldn't do a week earlier. The week after my FBIL will be out of the country for two weekends. Then it's July 4th...

June 12th picked us!

We were going to 10/10/10 but the hall wanted MORE $$ for that date so we said eff it and just went with the weekend before.

our anniversary is Jan 17th, which fell on a Sunday... we wanted a Saturday wedding.. so we looked for months with the 17th on a Saturday and were left with April & July.. i liked the idea of a spring wedding with spring colors, plus it wouldn't be too hot.. so we chose April 17th!

I love the summer and hate the winter so have always wanted a summer wedding. FH did not want July because it gave us less time to plan. One of FH'd best friends goes back to Law school on 8/25 and he wanted him here, and my brother is having a baby in the beginning of August so we picked 8/20.
