i'm worried about finances for the first few years. I'm worried about us not having much time to spend together b/c we will be working so hard to make ends meet.

I have to think about this one Nothing in particular I think. It's just such a huge step and I can't believe it's finally happening. Maybe, part of me worries we'll get sick of each other, or things will get boring and stuck in a rut we can't get out of.

This may sound crazy but everytime someone refers to me as my FH's soon to be 'WIFE' it makes me feel ridiculously old. I guess its just going to take some getting used to : 'WIFE'

To funny and all this time I thought I was the only one who thought wife made me feel old!! I really am not nervous about any of it. We have good communication, we know what each of us wants out of our lives, family, and career. I'm excited. I guess I just feel so old!! I know I know, but I got married and turned 25. last Christmas my sister who was my MOH and is only 19 bought me a very nice v-neck sweater and I bawled my eyes out after they left. Joe was just like what the h*** is wrong with you...it's a nice sweater.....all I could think was oh my god I got the older married sister christmas sweater Oh well everything changes

We already live together and are financially stable so I don't see much changing. I think it will just get better!

Family conflicts and expectations. Hate that stuff. Having to decide where we go on holidays. Otherwise, Brett & I will be just fine! We're both easy going, happy people!

Not nervous at all.
I feel that FH and I are a great fit. We have good communication, we know when to give each other space, and we just know each other. We've gone thru some hard times - my mom's death, his mom's diagnosis with cancer just two months after that, some financial instability on his side. It's been a roller coaster for us, but I think that all of this has just strengthened our bond.
It's hard to put into words. I can't imagine my life without him, and he feels the same.

having kids!! Hubby wants them right away and I am like....uh no. I don't want to give up my time with him so soon. I want to wait like 3 or 4 years.

Thats a hard question!!
I'm thinking that thigs won't really change too too much. We've been living together and are sharing financial responsibilities for a year as of the first of June .
That being said I also worry about the family conflicts and expectations. Having to decide where we go on holidays. Yada yada. We're both extremely close to our families, and I'm extremely stubborn!!!!
I agree that it will just get better!

I'm getting married on a steam ship and have to walk down some steps and then the aisle - I'm totally nervous about tripping down the steps and landing on my face.
For the marraige part, I'm not really nervous at all, we bought our house a year ago and are pretty settled into a budget. Families can be a conflict sometimes, but we are going to be our own family now, they'll learn to understand :)

For me it's the other way around He's the spender Im the saver !!! Finances definately scare me ...lol

The whole marrigage part gets me nervous, its the real world after you get marrried, for me no more mommy and daddy serving me on a silver platter anymore
