What Makes Your Wedding 'Unique'?

I have no idea why FH wants the Incredible Hulk. In all honesty, I think it just started out as a joke to piss me off. But then when I (stupidly) asked the banquet manager about it (assuming she'd laugh in our faces) and she said yes.......it suddenly became something that he really wanted.

I really hate the idea, but I know it'll be funny and everyone who knows my FH and I will realize that it was all his idea. Besides, I'm getting everything I want for the wedding, I might as well let him have this one little thing. And it's only going to be out for CH anyway............

I want this! Do you know how much it costs!?!

Mine is pretty ordinary and traditional. I'd like to find something unique.

Our first dance will be a traditonal swing dance (we are keeping this a secret)

FH and his Brother in law will be doing a B-boy performace. I was a little worried about this but FH wants to show our guest a fun time.

Candy bar, Cigar bar, and a old vintage photo booth...I think thats it

I like that idea!! It's something different...I'm thinking that could be another option

Well we're having it in CT lol

We most likely are not using flowers. We'll have candles decorating the ceremony,and candles or cornocopias as the CPs.

I'm not sure what other little touches we'll be adding, but we will be!

well we met at Penn state, where we both went to College, so we plan to put in little penn state touches (nothing tacky!) to make it a little more personal.

Me too. NOt Penn State but FH and I met in college and wee going to add little touches of our school. I'm still thinking of other ways to make it unique.

FH has an old Harley Davidson with a side car. We will be arriving on that motocycle with me in the side car.

i was told $500 for 45 minutes for Mr. Met.... they do not book until the 2010 schedule comes out... the Grooms cake i got through cakes by mona.. it was half the price so i will go w/ that LOL

mostly traditional but some unique touches
- doing circular menus
- FH and I are ballroom dancers so we have a foxtrot as our first dance
- having a flower 'dog'
- our RH is extrememly unique
- favors are cookie cutters and FH famous chocolate chip cookie recipe since he is a chef

maybe some other unique things that haven't thought of yet

You can def make your wedding stand out by adding your own creativity with special touches. I love what the celebrities are doing, ex. Fergie & Josh Dummel's wedding where their guests were given fishing poles as wedding favors to fish in the pond b/c that was one of Fergie's fav past time with her father. Of course, we can't all afford an extravagent wedding like celebrities do but we can draw details & ideas and make them into our own!

I think the place we are having it at makes it unique...its not a typical Long Island RH. Also we are customizing our ceremony since we are an interfaith couple.

Other than that...not much probably

ETA: Our first dance is to Queen - You're My Best Friend so obviously we're not going to be swaying back and forth...we want to get something choreographed and do that
