All I really cared about was having a Saturday night wedding sometime between June and July, though I did want a date that 'sounded' nice. I'm sure that's weird but I prefer softer sounding numbers, like 'thirthieth' instead of 'twenty-seventh.' I'm very strange, I know.

we wanted a saturday wedding and a day wedding so that we could party afterwards. i wanted june and the 11th was taken so we took the 4th..

Day and date are not significant to me...
I'm getting married on a Monday during the day
Also a national holiday.
Most brides wouldn't even entertain the idea. I am looking forward to the challenge and growth that I will experience being married. I just want to be married to him, when and what date wasn't as significant.

I knew I wanted a Saturday night in either September or October. When I found my hall, I took what was available.

For us it was the date
We had already planned our honeymoon first (yes we do things backwards ) and we needed to get married the weekend before the cruise left. Since the cruise left on a Friday, we definitely wanted either the Saturday or Sunday b/f the trip
We had a short engagement, so a few factors came into play when picking which day. We wound up picking the Sunday b/f our HM because (a) we couldn't book our church for Saturday, it was already booked and (b) our hall was bending over backwards for us if we booked the Sunday
Initially I wanted a Saturday night wedding, but it wound up all being SO perfect that I don't regret any of it for a second

My FH is a teacher so we knew we wanted to get married in the summer so that we wouldn't have to wait to take the honeymoon. We preferred July and a Friday night was more affordable than a Saturday.

Neither. It was actually the month. I REALLY wanted an early October wedding. And I also didn't want to wait 1 year and 9 months to get married so we picked a date that was available at the place we LOVED.

There was no question about the wedding being held on a Saturday evening.
Then it came down to the dates...we decided to have the wedding 9/21 or 9/28 because those weekends coincided with my grandfather's 100th birthday.
That entire side of the family would have to come to the area for his birthday and I wanted them to be here for the wedding without putting more of a financial burden on anyone.

The month and location. We set the date according to the time of year, and what the hall had available (and our budget).

Me and FI were really open to any date in either March or Feb. the the hall had available. It turns out that the date we picked is actually my FI brothers birthday

I just really wanted it to be on Memorial Day Weekend and I think only 2 days where available for that weekend, we just ended up picking the friday.

Mine was funny enough the date. We're getting married on my half birthday!! I wanted to be sure to have something to celebrate every 6 mths. It worked out perfect since it's a Saturday and a holiday weekend.....and in 79 days!!
