for us it was the date.
we really liked the thought of being married on 05-05-05 but since thats a thursday we're going to vegas and getting married at 5pm.. cheesy i know.
but for the LI wedding we're doing it on 05-22-05 which is kinda the same forwards and backwards so i liked that.. plus it was the only date available for our hall. so it worked out
now the hard part is figuring out which anniversary to celebrate.

The day did matter - I wouldn't do it on anything but a non-holiday Saturday - but the date didn't matter at all to me.

I just wanted a saturday night wedding....not in the summer and not in the winter and no fall.......i am not a fan of fall colors

Date...wanted a september wedding no matter what and really wanted the 24th...our dating anniversary was 9/25 as well as the day he proposed 2 years later. Wish saturday was the 25th next year, but its not so the 24th was the closest!

I wanted November and I didn't care what day of the week until we found Flowerfield. We had 260 people and it was cheaper for us on a Friday night.

I always wanted to get married the day after Thanksgiving and that is when we are getting married!!!! The Hall is already decorated for Christmas, which is my favorite time of year, and everyone is in good spirits because of the holiday...Also, a lot of people have off that day!!!!

I never was set on April, or easter weekend..but I wanted the friday night over that school vacation.

I just wanted a summer date. Sunday just happened to be easier for us. We met on aug 26 so we wanted something close to that date.
