Ive been looking around and many places say 8-14 wks for shipping, Ive found a few cribs that I like and Im having Dh come with me when its time to really buy something. Many people are telling me its too soon though and Im due the end of June. I dont want to rush things but I would like to have the baby's room done before he gets here I was thinking of going this weekend to put the deposits down. Am I jumping the gun?
I'm pretty sure we ordered at 6.5 - 7 months. The furniture we liked had a 6-8 week delivery timeframe. Luckily we had a little wiggle room because one piece arrived damaged and they had to send us a replacement.
I ordered my furniture in early December with a late March due date. I wanted it to be assembled and installed at least six weeks early. (I'm neurotic. hehe)

We ordered when I was five months, because it would take about two months to come in. We haven't had it delivered yet because the room isn't finished, but they said we can have it delivered anytime we like.
We ordered in January and I was due at end of May. It's not too soon if your comfortable ordering it. They told us it could take up to 16 weeks, but it was in rather quickly and we had them store it in their warehouse until the nursery was painted and ready for it.
8th month, I was a little slow. It's ready though with three weeks to go...
