the movie with Tom Hanks and the volleyball on the island - doesn't it end with him at the fork in the road? we're supposed to think he went to the ranch

Castaway I think...also sad a$$ ending!

1 - Good Will Hunting.......all we see is him driving.

I know there's more....I just can't think of them.

In Good Will Hunting....he was 'going to see about a girl' !!

Re: What movies do you think had the dumbiest endings?

I can think of three myself..

The Godsend -- I never thought a movie could make Robert De Niro look dumb and bad.

In the Cut -- Meg Ryan.. what the hell was she thinking? Awful ending. Awful movie.

Cold Creek Manor -- ewhh.. yuk. Terrible.

Let's put it this way.. Freddy vs. Jason made more sense than these three. No joke.

Re: What movies do you think had the dumbiest endings?

My vote Hand down is . . .
MAGNOLIA. 1/2 of the people left in the middle of the movie and a bunch of people went to the ticket booth afterwards and tried to get their money back.
Frogs falling from the sky?!?!?!?! What is that about?

OMG I couldnt agree more!!!
My brother raved about how he couldnt sleep easily for days after the movie. So I finally went to see it. God what a stupid stupid movie. half way through I heard others in theatre saying 'We want our money back' I certainly did!!!

Blair Witch 2 was better only because they could only go up from there!
