The Blair Witch Project. The ending was so stupid.
I thought the ending was the best part... the rest of it stunk.

I rewound that thing a like 10 times to figure out the ending. I know they were facing the corner like the other kids who got killed, so the witch was there, but what else was there. Its been a while, but I remember being like ***?? SO the witch got them. Big deal.

Rosemary's Baby!! I spent the whole movie tense waiting for the scary part- and then the credits rolled.

Oh I know one!
I loved AI with the kid from the Sixth Sense but what was up with the ending? With the mom? I always feel like she just fell asleep.
I completely agree!! AI was actually the first movie I though of after reading this post. Another one I think of is 2001: A Space Odyssey. I had to watch it for a film class in college, and not only the ending - but the ENTIRE movie had me going 'HUH?!' Then again, I'm not one for the deep philosophical meaning movies either..... Movies with dumb endings are the worst though - I always feel so robbed!

the movie with Tom Hanks and the volleyball on the island - doesn't it end with him at the fork in the road? we're supposed to think he went to the ranch
Castaway I think...also sad a$$ ending!
I have to politely disagree.. I think that Castaway had a GREAT ending!

Great choice!!!I HATED that movie so much - and then, for added punishment - my brother in law, who is a spanish teacher - had me watch the original movie (vanila sky is a remake of a Spanish movie called Open your eyes - also starring Penelope Cruz) the original is just as bad!!!

Okay, 2 comments. First, Vanilla Sky was an awful movie and I would've been totally lost had I not seen the original movie first. The original, a Spanish movie called 'Abre Los Ojos' makes SO much more sense and is a lot better. Rent it, it's good even with subtitles.
Just watched 'Something's Gotta Give' last night with Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton. STUPIDEST ENDING EVER!!!!! The problem is that they don't make you dislike Keanu Reeves at all so you're rooting for him to get the girl. I don't think that's what they were going for. What a waste of $4.95.

WAITTTTTTTTTTTT I HAVE ONE!!!!!
CITY OF ANGELS
(With Meg Ryan and Nick Cage)
I have to agree. Plus the movie with Madonna, and they get shipwrecked. Not sure the name. I thought that ending was HoRRIBLE, not a happy one at all.
