What nail color would you do for the wedding?

I am having browns, taupe, camel and ivory for my colors. For the flowers they will be sunset colors, aka fall colors. Now I love french but, also love wearing brown on my nails also. So I was thinking I could do brown for the day of the wedding.
What is your opinion?
P.S. I am probably going to dye my shoes brown.

I say you do what pleases you most.

Just make sure if you chose the Brown in years to come when you reflect back on your photos you don't say 'what was I thinking'

Some times trends or fads are better off left for everyday use in stead of a once in a lifetime timeless memory.
Again, it really is Up to you.

I went with a french manicure in a very light ballet pink so that it blended nicely no matter what color I wore.

I think a dark nail would look really good with the colors you're using. A great color is vamp by Chanel-- I've been wearing it for years

if you do a dark color i'd keep your nails very short! it only looks modern if it's on short nails in my opinion!

i agree.i will probably do a french or ballet slipper color

I'm not going with french. I may just do a light pink. i have natural nails and I don't want it to chip. I want it to last for my honeymoon too. If you have fake nails, you'll be ok.

everyone does french, and i personally don't like french on ME, so i did a deep pink/plum color, and loved how it looked. there's a color by OPI called chocolate mousse which i love, it's not too dark, and looks really nice on. DH loves it when i wear that color.

french, or maybe a burgandy/wine color since you seem to like dark. But I don't think brown nail polish would look good on a bride. jmo

i was thinking of a very light pinkish/white but not french because i feel like my nails chip so easily and when french chips its so noticeable.

I used to get SO irritated when people would basically INFORM me that I 'would' be getting a french manicure for my wedding. And when I told them I wasn't planning on it, I actually had people TELL me, 'oh, you'll just do a nice pale pink then.'

I didn't. In fact, I did this:

It's a bit hard to see, but it's a french with deep blue tips. I did my toes entirely in the blue.

Everyone was shocked. My mother was horrified. I was ecstatic. I love it. I'm so glad I did what made me happy, and ignored all the 'advice' others gave me. When I look at my wedding pictures, the thing that makes me smile the most are those nails, because they were one of the choices that I made that just felt most purely, totally and completely me.

Sure, you could worry about having a 'what was I thinking?' moment some day in the future. Or you could just embrace who you are now and enjoy it. If you are being true to yourself, then you will always be able to feel good about your choices.
