What Next?

I have booked the reception (yes!!!), picked my girls, he picked his guys, we booked our engagement party. We aren't getting married until March 2010. So what should we be doing? I feel like I am not doing it right. Oh, and we registered...so please please tell me stuff to do! Thanks

So I have my photographer..he is actually a student but does weddings..I like him, he isn't cookie cutter and does photo journalist tyoe stuff

music. I booked my RH but then found out the band I wanted was already booked. The two most important things for a party the venue and the music.

FH and i are getting married in october 09 and we are taking our time and enjoying every minute of our engagement! we know everything will fall into place, we aren't stressing out about anything!!! the last thing we want is for our wedding planning to become a chore!

All the good photogs book early. I would get a head start on that.

def do the photographer. and decide if you want a band or dj and do that next.
then keep an eye out for dresses you like

I say photo/video, dj/band. florist and dresses by the one year mark

Church or any religious site if you plan on going that route, Photographer, and DJ if they are booking for 10'.

I would start looking around for a photog/video, DJ... you're getting married in march which at least isn't the BUSY BUSY season...so they should have your date available at this stage of the game! And you have time to shop around and find someone you really love!!!

Congrats!
I went to see the Wind Watch! I liked it but it was too far away for us!

So since you have your photographer... will they also be doing the videography? Did you want a videographer?
Did you do the church? or location of the actual wedding?
The next step is DJ then maybe Florist followed by transportation.
to be honest with you.. if you plan on booking everything within the next couple of months you can go out of order. I was able to go out of order because I started booking my vendors so far in advance. I didn't have any problems booking with anyone because I did it way ahead of time. That's a really nice way to go - its super stress free.

I would pick the church/ceremony venue because you dont want to wait and find out the day is not available if you are set on a specific location
