going to put our deposit down tonight on the hall!!
What comes next?? Do i NEED to start booking other vendors right away? Shoot; took almost 8 months just to pick a hall! Not sure how much longer each other step will take LOL!
I'm guessing florists is next; or should i look at photographers & DJ's first? to make sure they're not already booked (since i'm sure florists several events each day as opposed to a DJ being only 1 person). Thanks!

Congrats on the hall decision!!
I would do DJ and photog/video next - they book up quick and could take some time to find one that you like.
Florist you have time and there are plenty out there.

Book the vendor in the order of importance to you.
I did photog as soon as I sighed with the RH since I knew exactly who I wanted and didn't want him snatched

If there are any vendors that you know you absolutely want then book them asap so you can secure them for your date! Otherwise do in order or importance to you! For me after RH it was DJ!

i would say start hunting for a photographer for me the Hall and the pictures were the most important
then a DJ ( i suggest variety music)
then a florist
but thats just me :)

I've got to start researching photographers that work within my budget.
We were thinking about booking someone who is up & coming that is still really good as a way to save costs...any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

After I booked the RH, I started looking at photo/video and now I am focusing on the DJ. There was a bunch of helpful photography threads the last week so I would check them out. I got a lot of good recommendations from them.

Congrats!!!! SInce you now have your RH I would start looking at Photographers and DJ ...we left flowers and limos for last.. I feel like the photographers and DJs/bands book up quick

Congrats on booking your hall. After booking the hall I got my dress and booked my photographer. My dj comes with the RH so I didnt need one. I just booked my limos and the last is my florist.
