what order should I book vendors and how long in between?
I've been engaged for a month already and have already booked the RH and church. Not getting married until 9-2-11, so I'm just wondering what I should book and when! Thank You!

I'm getting married the same weekend....I booked most everything already....only because it is a holiday weekend and i called 2 photographers and they were already booked. So that sent me into a panic hahaha. Theres no specific order that you really need to book anything now that you have the RH and Church. As long as you know the time for those....you'll be good to go!

if you already have the hall and church i'd start looking in photogs now bc those book fast
then i would do:
band/dj flowers limos

I say book what's important to you first! If you have a must have photog in mind but couldn't care less about the DJ... book the photog now and wait a bit before booking the DJ. And don't let anyone pressure you into booking, you have plenty of time!

ah I know, the only reason I'm worried is because its Labor Day Weekend, and I don't want everything to be booked! Thank you girls!!!

It really all depends on which vendors mean the most to you, but we had all ours booked before the year mark in this order:
RH Church Photog DJ Limo Florist

I would book your DJ and photographer now. 9-2011 sounds like a long time away but it's really only a little over a year.
The sooner you book all your major vendors the longer you have to save and budget accordingly.
