What other questions should I ask at Food Tasting / Menu Selection?

I have an appt. w / East Wind at 4 today. To have a tasting and pick out menu selections.

What kind of questions did everyone ask at theirs?

Hmmm....I just asked simple things like is there a vegetarian option if someone wants it, make sure you know the extra charges for certain dishes (we have an extra charge for one of the cocktail hour choices we made), if you pick a fresh fruit table/dish find out what they use in the season you're getting married. I also asked how many waiters/table etc, but did that when signing the contract. I'd also ask if there is a clause in the contract that says they can substitute if something is unavailable.

Mostly, just go and enjoy the food:)

as if you can use some of the meal options in your cocktail hour instead - i tried a couple really good things at mine that were on the dinner menu but not the cocktail hour menu, and they really wouldn't have been suitable for our dinner, so they said we can use them as chafing dish selections instead.
