what part of planning was much harder than you expected?

for me, it was the invitation list. It was like yanking teeth to get some addresses! (Matter of fact, I still don't have all of them....)

Booking a hairdresser is a bit of a pain. I think I waited too long, and now no one is available.

Finally, finding a 1950's limo was nearly impossible... but we have one now

What we found to be easy was selecting the hall, booking the DJ, and doing the invitations... all perfect!

well. beside the list (growing) it would be choosing vendors w/out personal referrals.. just annoying and scary .. and all the little tedious diy projects that i PLANNED TO DO .. :

oh, under DIY that were planned and not executed (because I realized how enormous they were 3 days later).... Calligraphy. I originally planned to do the invitations and the place cards.... yeah, right. Then I saw a woman who does them for cheap... not worth the hassle!
now I'm down to the place cards....

I hear that!! I am not getting some of my vendors calls returned. I say, as long as they show up...But I would agree it’s the guests and people I do not really know, and getting the addresses. All that jazz and the little things too.

All my late entries are all from FH's family. Fine, invite people from poland and MA, but give me the @#$%$ addresses in time for the calligrapher!

Would you believe I've asked for the same addresses for over 6 weeks

Florist has been the only thing so far. I met with 7 different florists until I found the one I'm using!

Other than that, everything has been pretty easy. I hope it stays that way!

I think choosing the HM was the most difficult. I work in the travel industry so I realllly over-thought every decision. I changed destinations, changed resorts..this was the one area I was a total pain in the butt!

Getting ANYTHING from FIL's. It took them forever to get us their side of the guest list!!

Gosh, the absolute worst part of the plannign process has been deciding a dress and color for bridesmaids.

not only do i have 6 different size and shape girls but they were very opinionated! noone was ever happy until yestersday! we finally found a dress that everyone loves. otherwise everything else has been quite easy
